What has been done with the donations?

First of all, thank you for the generous donations for my Ukraine support project.
I am thankful for the possibility to help the people left behind in Ukraine.

I will explain where the help already arrived and what has been done with the donations.

Thank you again, for the continous support of my project. This means a lot to me!

Urgent need for EKG in nursing home

The nursing home in Denihivka had the urgent need to get a replacement for their defect EKG machine.
During war times this seemed to be a very big problem.
As I am not an "expert" in medical equipment, I have asked our trusted doctor, Dr. Stefan Weier for assistance and he surprised me with a donation of a mobile EKG device with all required material. A very big thanks to Dr. Stefan Weier for helping Ukraine in these hard times.
We might be able to safe lives with a quick and secure diagnosis using the EKG. Me and my team organized the transport to its destination, which was an adventures travel to Berlin, Poland, Ukraine and finally in the Tetiev region.

Tetiev (eria district regional) Hospital

Tetiev is a small city with a population of 12.700 in the middle of Ukraine, Kiev region.
This is the lovely country side with friendly citizens.
The small hospital has serviced pregnant woman and the new born babies of the area, until now....

The story behind...

When the war started, many Ukrainians from the large cities escaped the war, fleeing to the countryside. Pregnant woman, can not afford to go on the difficult journey to Europe.
They left for the Tetiev Region. The small hospital (children station) hosts in normal circumstances 2-3 new born baby and mothers.

In the first 10 days of war, 24 children (14 girls, 10 boys) have been given birth. The hospital was not ready for so many new born children. Local volunteers are helping out, in order to keep this place open, as the permanent staff is on its limit.

The donation of 1.400 EUR for this hospital, helped to buy all necessary equipment, pampers, beds etc.
in order to have an adequate care for the young Ukrainians.

I am personally sorry for these children, to be born into this difficult times and this crazy war.
Wishing for them to come to life in a peaceful, sunny Ukraine with lots of love and a fair chance in life for this generation.
Writing this today, mid April 2022, a total of 58 little angels have been born, thanks to your help.

With this donation, it is possible to keep these children healthy and help them over the difficult first weeks of life and the ongoing war.

Personal and warm thanks go to the volunteers helping to make it work. The material and equipment has been bought on the border of Poland and transported by these nice people to Tetiev.
